Summary:
This position will assist in all areas of our service, specifically the collection of food scraps, delivery to our composting partner, delivery of finished compost, cleaning of bins and general labor involved in our business.
Primary Responsibilities:
Driving a box truck to our customer’s sites to collect their food scraps in rolling carts
Driving to composting facility to drop off the food scraps
Cleaning rolling carts
Delivering compost to customers
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Clean driving record
Must be able to maneuver rolling carts that can weigh up to 250 lbs
Must be very reliable
Must pass a medical examine (no drug screening)
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to use an iPad
Must be friendly
Preferences:
Knowledge of composting or environmental science
Willingness to perform or learn about other responsibilities in the business (i.e. marketing, outreach, sales)
College degree
Motivated to better the Hartford and greater CT community through your work

Compensation:
$15/hr
